Welcome to Ca' Dadda.

My name is Valentina and this home has been the heart of my family for three generations. I spent my childhood here surrounded by the sparkling reflections of the water and rooms filled with family memories. Ca' Dadda is not just a home, it is a piece of living history and sharing it with you is a privilege.

In 2023, my partner François and I embarked on a passionate journey to bring it back to its splendor. Two years of meticulous renovation, with carefully selected materials and the expertise of Venetian master craftsmen, have transformed it into a sanctuary of contemporary charm and elegance. We have preserved every original detail, from the marble floors to the exquisite boiserie, discreetly integrating modern technology and refined design, to make you experience Venice at its most sophisticated.

We are delighted to welcome you to this historic home, where the authentic charm of Venice meets modern comfort.

From the private terrace overlooking the Grand Canal to the art deco lounge, every corner has been designed to offer you an unforgettable stay. We hope you can feel the same magic that binds us to this place and that you can take home the memories of an intimate and timeless Venice.

Cà Dadda is a historic building nestled in the heart of Venice, adjacent to the Rialto Bridge in the Cannaregio district. The building is spread over three floors, with large and bright interiors and a suspended terrace with breathtaking views of the Grand Canal. Probably dating back to the period before the 17th century, the property appears in an 18th-century Venetian landscape painting by Canaletto (1730), now preserved at the Metropolitan Museum in New York. The marble floors of the atrium, the staircases, the Byzantine capitals that adorn the three-light windows on the second floor and many other fine details bear witness to centuries of continuous use. The layers of modifications, decorations and architectural interventions reflect the evolution of the tastes and functions of the building over the centuries.
